How to use the wiki for online organising#
First thing to say is that some of the thinks here are counter intuitive and they are that way to push people over the edge to use open tools affectively, if you don’t sweat you don’t really learn anything.
- Put it on the wiki then if it is important/timely e-mail the group with a link to the wiki page (do not include the original text in the e-mail).
- Visit the sight and use the recently update link and/or the members activity page to see what is new/happening
- Use the rating stars to show that you have both actively read the page and how you feel about it – this is the same as “jazz hands in meetings”.
- its up to every one to help people get upto speed, same will be slower.
